Knowing you can stay in the UK is one thing. Landing a job is another. Here is what actually works. 

Tailor every application. UK employers read CVs and cover letters carefully, and a generic application is easy to spot and easy to dismiss. Match your language to the job description. Highlight specific, measurable achievements rather than just listing responsibilities. Show that you understand the company and the role you are applying for. A little extra effort at this stage makes a bigger difference than most people realise. 

Use LinkedIn strategically. Build a profile that reflects your skills and experience clearly, connect with people in your industry, and do not be afraid to reach out to professionals whose career path interests you. A short, genuine message asking for advice or a brief conversation can open doors that a formal application never would. Recruiters are also actively searching LinkedIn for candidates, so an up-to-date, well-written profile works for you even when you are not actively searching.
