Course overview

Data is transforming the way organisations make decisions, solve problems and develop new technologies. The BSc (Hons) Data Science and Artificial Intelligence prepares you to develop the technical, analytical and problem-solving skills needed to work with data and intelligent systems across a range of industries.

You’ll build a foundation in programming, mathematics, databases and software engineering before progressing to specialist areas including machine learning, data engineering, artificial intelligence, big data and cloud computing. Throughout the course, you’ll apply your learning to practical projects that reflect real-world challenges while developing an understanding of the ethical and professional responsibilities involved in working with data.

Examples of accepted qualifications include:

  • A Levels: CCD, including Mathematics or Computing (with Mathematics or Computing also required at GCSE level)

Other qualifications

We also welcome applications from candidates with equivalent academic, vocational or professional qualifications.
