Dr Danial Javaheri

Danial Javaheri is a Lecturer in Cyber Security at the School of Computing, Engineering, and Physical Sciences, University of the West of Scotland, London Campus, UK, and a Senior Member of the IEEE. He previously held positions as a Research Professor at Korea University and an Assistant Professor at Chosun University, South Korea. He earned his PhD (Hons) degree in Computer Engineering – Software, along with several national awards, from the Science and Research Branch of Azad University, Tehran, Iran, in 2018. With over ten years of experience in academia, Dr Javaheri has been teaching cyber security and computer science courses and conducting extensive research in cyber security, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, in collaboration with renowned entities and scientists worldwide. He has (co-)authored 30 publications, including books and papers in prestigious venues, primarily Q1 Elsevier and IEEE journals. In recent years, he has secured several research grants and led research projects as Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-PI. Furthermore, he has peer-reviewed over 300 articles for more than 40 journals in the Web of Science and serves as an editor for two respected journals in the field.
