Dr Abdel-Moughit Semlali

I am a Lecturer in Business and Management at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS). In my academic role, I specialise in teaching the dynamics of leadership, strategic decision-making processes, change management, and sustainable business practices. My pedagogical approach emphasizes developing cognitive, interpersonal, and intrapersonal skills, aiming to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of key principles in these fields.

I also supervise MBA dissertations, providing detailed guidance on research methodologies, approaches, and design. My goal is to ensure that my supervisees can navigate and contribute effectively to academic discourse, producing research that meets high scholarly standards.

Beyond academia, I bring over a decade of practical experience in family business development particularly in workspace design and build. This unique blend of practical and academic expertise allows me to seamlessly integrate real-world insights with academic theory, providing students with a rich learning experience that bridges theory and practice.
