Professor Mahendra Raj

Professor Mahendra Raj is an MBA Supervisor for the MBA in Banking and Finance at the University of the West of Scotland. He did his MBA from Baylor University and MS and PhD from the University of Arizona. His has held various positions such as Dean, Academic Director, Director of Research, Chair and Professor at various universities in UK, US, UAE and NZ. His areas of research include corporate finance, investments, derivative securities, international finance, banking and governance. He has published more than fifty refereed articles in reputed international journals and has been the Editor of Studies in Economics and Finance, an Emerald journal from 2002-2013. He has also been on the editorial board of several other international journals. He has been a Commissioner with the Competition Commission for UK and the Accounts Commission for Scotland.
