MBA with Luxury Branding

An MBA with a specialisation in luxury branding, combines business fundamentals with valuable insights into various aspects of entrepreneurial, marketing, and consumer behaviours in the context of high-end products and services.

By studying this course, you will also gain in-depth knowledge of the luxury market, including its unique challenges, issues with sustainability, and rapidly changing trends. Graduates can find themselves working in managerial roles overseeing different aspects within high-end brands such as, marketing, retail, distribution and operations. You can also grow into an entrepreneur of your own luxury brand.

Course Modules

The MBA Pathways program has a number of core modules, which will enable students to lead from within through innovation and creative thinking, shaping them into a leader for the ever changing context of Business. The modules are interdisciplinary in nature enabling students to critically demonstrate and understand the integration of key business functions enhancing their ability to design and deliver effective organisation wide strategies across sectors.

Students are required to complete the following three core modules:

  • Fundamentals of Senior Management (40 Credits)
  • The Strategic Manager (20 Credits)
  • Professional Management and Research Skills (20 Credits)

Students undertaking the Digital Marketing Pathway will complete the following modules:

  • Digital Marketing Strategies (20 Credits)
  • Theoretical Perspectives in Digital Marketing (20 Credits)

At the dissertation stage there is an option of either the Strategic Business Project (60 credits) or the Developing Professional Practice module (60 credits) which will enable students to work with an employer on a project related to Leadership.

Career Prospects

This degree prepares you for roles in various industries, including fashion, jewelry, automobiles, hospitality, and premium consumer goods.

  1. Brand Manager: Oversees the development and execution of strategies to build and maintain the image, reputation, and desirability of luxury brands in the market.
  2. Marketing Manager: Responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance the visibility, desirability, and sales of luxury products or services
  3. Retail Manager: Oversees the operations of luxury retail outlets, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, maintaining brand image and standards, optimizing sales performance, and fostering relationships with high-end clientele to drive revenue and brand loyalty.
  4. Client Relations Manager: Cultivates and nurtures relationships with high-net-worth individuals, providing personalized experiences, understanding their needs and preferences, and ensuring exceptional service to foster long-term loyalty and drive repeat business for luxury brands.
