Supporting UWS Entrepreneurs

The Greenhouse is a brand new business incubation space in the Import Building, powered by UWS, Trilogy and The Trampery, created to offer support for students who wish to set up their own business.

UWS London offers support to undergraduates, postgraduates and recent graduates to help them transform their business ideas into a commercial reality.

What to expect from the business incubation space:

  • an introduction to relevant business services
  • help with applications to acceleration programmes
  • mentoring
  • intellectual-property advice
  • hot-desk and business incubation space

Student Union

The Student Union works to represent students’ voice so that it can help the University make decisions which improve student’s experience. We also offer a number of services to assist students during their time at UWS:

Societies and Volunteering

You can join any society or create your own to reflect your own interests. This is a great way to make friends. We also provide volunteering opportunities – to allow you to gain experience, or to give something back to the community.

Welfare Support

Studying and juggling all other aspects of your life can be difficult and the Union offers an independent advice service to help you explore your options when things don’t go as planned. We also have events to improve your wellbeing – look out for the thera-pets near exam time!

Representation

Our volunteer student reps help us to represent your voice to the University. Each class will have at least one student rep and your lecturer will talk to you about this in your classes. If you’re interested in becoming a rep – talk to your Lecturer.

Social Events

We do provide events and entertainment – even at a distance. Check out our webpage for what’s on during Freshers! You can check out more information about these services at our website.
